18 month fixed term
Full time – 37.5 hours per week
£56,000

Working across UK Insurance Transformation, you'll lead programmes, projects or major workstreams from planning through to delivery, bringing together business and technical teams to deliver measurable value. Whether using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches, you'll ensure change is delivered effectively, efficiently and with customers at the heart of every decision.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
- Lead the delivery of strategic change initiatives and complex programmes, ensuring agreed outcomes, benefits and milestones are achieved.
- Build and manage delivery plans, budgets, risks, dependencies and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bring together business, technology and third-party teams to deliver successful change.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to shape solutions, overcome challenges and maintain delivery momentum.
- Lead delivery teams using Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies, acting as Scrum Master where required.
- Manage risks, issues and dependencies, removing blockers and ensuring timely escalation where appropriate.
- Drive continuous improvement, embedding effective ways of working and a strong delivery culture.
- Ensure all initiatives operate within Bupa’s governance, regulatory and risk frameworks.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Significant experience delivering business and technology change programmes with measurable business outcomes is essential.
- 5 years + experience in programme, project or change delivery experience across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies is essential.
- Proven ability to manage complex delivery plans, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies.
- Excellent stakeholder-management skills, with experience influencing and reporting to senior leaders and executive-level stakeholders is essential.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience delivering value-led business outcomes.
- Experience leading cross-functional and matrix teams to achieve ambitious objectives is essential.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain effective under pressure.
- Experience managing risk, benefits and resource planning within complex delivery environments.
- Experience within financial services, healthcare, insurance or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge of FCA and/or CQC regulated environments.
- Familiarity with methodologies such as Prince2, MSP or Scrum is desirable.
- Experience working within healthcare insurance or health-related markets is desirable.
