Why This Role Is Different

This isn’t traditional demand planning. In this role, you’ll operate at the intersection of custom engineering, project execution, and supply chain strategy—where every order is unique and timelines are dynamic.

You’ll play a pivotal role in translating complex, project-based demand into executable plans, ensuring alignment across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer-facing teams. Your work directly impacts delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency in a highly customized manufacturing environment.

Material & Inventory Strategy

  • Ensure availability of long-lead and critical components for complex builds

  • Collaborate with Procurement to manage constraints, expedite materials, and reduce supply risk

  • Maintain and optimize planning parameters (MRP, lead times, safety strategies) tailored to an ETO environment

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the central coordination point across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams

  • Communicate risks, changes, and trade-offs clearly and proactively

  • Contribute to S&OP / SIOP, capacity planning, and project reviews

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Resolve issues related to material shortages, design changes, rework, and schedule disruptions

  • Support implementation of systems, tools, and best practices for ETO planning

Reporting & Insights

  • Track and report on on-time delivery, schedule adherence, backlog health, and capacity utilization

  • Maintain accurate system data to enable reliable planning and execution

  • Provide actionable insights on demand trends, risks, and operational constraints

What Success Looks Like

  • Projects delivered on time and within capacity constraints
