Job Summary

You will prepare and cook haute French dishes following SOPs to ensure consistent quality in a fine dining environment, assist with food presentation, manage supplies, and maintain kitchen safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food consistently according to SOPs to meet French fine dining standards
  • Cook and present haute French cuisine efficiently following company operations manual
  • Assist in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation to maintain quality
  • Monitor and stay informed on current promotions and new menu items to support service
  • Ensure supplies, equipment, and work areas comply with hygiene and safety standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance issues promptly to the Chef
  • Assist in ordering food supplies and managing stock levels accurately
  • Estimate required quantities and costs of food and ingredients for kitchen operations

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a basic culinary position
  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and sanitary practices

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Higher Nitec certification or Diploma in culinary skills preferred.
