Dental Assistant - 1300Smiles Carindale

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to support our clinicians and patients on:

• Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
• Occasional Saturdays as required

In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice while assisting with a variety of dental procedures and providing outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist our Clinicians in providing high-quality dental care to patients.
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
• Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

About You

• Previous experience in a dental practice.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in computer systems and dental software.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
