Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers in the dental office

  • Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort

  • Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed

  • Removing excess cement from brackets and orthodontic bands

  • Bracket set-up

  • Ligature removal and replacement

  • Pre-selection of orthodontic bands and separator placement

  • Wire removal and placement

  • Taking impression and bite registrations and Fabrication orthodontic retainers

  • Other duties as assigned to assist team

Skills

  • Proven experience as dental assistant

  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods

  • Understanding of health & safety regulations

  • Good computer skills

  • Excellent communication and people skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Well-organized and reliable

  • Bilingual a plus!

Requirements:

  • CPR Certified

  • 1 year or more experience

  • Graduate of an accredited dental assistant school
