The CanKids <\/b>Resource\nMobilization Department is responsible for identifying, vetting, and acquiring\nthe required resources for accomplishing organizational goals. The Dept.\nfocuses on mobilizing funds, supporters, media attention, and partners, while\ncontinuously working on refining the current fundraising channels and\nactivities to ensure long\-term, flexible, and unrestricted resources for\nCanKids.

Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>

1.Proposal Development & Fundraising:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

  • Develop\n and refine proposals, concept notes, and reports in collaboration with\n project teams to attract new donors and retain existing ones.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Generate\n and convert donor partner leads, providing proactive service\n post\-conversion to ensure donor satisfaction.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure\n fundraising targets are met or exceeded in alignment with organizational\n goals.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Support\n the drafting and achievement of the overall resource mobilization strategy\n and annual goals.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Contribute\n to maintaining and updating the donor database, ensuring accuracy and\n completeness.<\/span>

    2.Donor Retention & Management:<\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Manage a\n portfolio of \u20b915 Cr, focusing on large\-scale donor relationships.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Maintain\n proactive and periodic communication with donors, ensuring satisfaction\n beyond regular service requirements.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Provide\n personalized engagement and solutions tailored to donor needs, fostering\n long\-term partnerships.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Write\n and curate high\-quality proposals, concept notes, and reports for donor\n activities, events, and campaigns.<\/span>

      3.Event & Campaign Management:<\/span><\/b>
      <\/p>

      • End\-to\-end\n manage and lead/support all Resource Mobilization (RM)\-related activities,\n events, and campaigns.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Document\n and maintain the organization\u2019s event calendar and associated files and\n databases.<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Participate\n in organizing events, donor engagements, and department\-specific campaigns\n to further the organization's mission.<\/span>

        4.Organizational Development & Team Collaboration:<\/span><\/b>
        <\/p>

        · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Collaborate with Managers handling smaller donor\nportfolios (\u20b91\-2 Cr) to ensure alignment in donor management strategies.<\/span>
        <\/p>

        · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Participate in and support organizational and\ndepartment development activities, including staff orientation, training, and\ncross\-functional collaboration.<\/span>
        <\/p>

        · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to\nenhance skills in proposal writing, donor management, and fundraising\nstrategies.<\/span>
        <\/p>

        5.Compliance & Budget Management:<\/span><\/b>
        <\/p>

        • Ensure\n all proposals and donor engagements comply with organizational and legal\n standards.<\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Manage\n budgets effectively, ensuring transparency and alignment with donor\n expectations.<\/span>
          <\/li><\/ul>

          • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Resource\n Mobilization and Communication Officer (CRMCO).<\/span><\/span>

            Required Qualifications and Experience<\/span><\/b><\/span>
            <\/p>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>5\-8 years of experience in acquisitions and client\-facing roles.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/p>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong skills in budget management and proposal writing.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/p>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Clear understanding of compliance and donor management.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
            <\/span><\/p>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Excellent communication and relationship\-building abilities.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
