Deputy Geospatial Enterprise Officer
About the Position: This position is located at U.S. Army MSCoE, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, Missouri. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2 hour drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is an hour's drive West of Fort Leonard Wood.
Serves as the deputy to the Geospatial Enterprise Officer.
Assists the Geospatial Enterprise Officer in determining the long-range total Army impact of new geospatial concepts and capabilities, new systems and components.
Supervises civilian and military personnel equivalent ranging GS-07 - GS-14 grade levels.
Reviews broad field of geospatial related technology available in area of geospatial capability development, geospatial data requirements, display, analysis, data management, modeling, and dissemination, in concert with Army capability developments.
Integrates methods for testing and certifies the performance of geospatial data products and information against the intended use.
