Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete operational cycle for Private Banking investment products, ensuring timely and accurate processing of trades, confirmations, settlements, and reconciliations.
• Handle corporate actions, including mandatory, voluntary, and elective events, while ensuring clear communication and monitoring of client elections.
• Conduct reconciliations and controls for cash, positions, and transactions, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
• Process deposits, remittances, and facilitate asset transfers efficiently.
• Contribute to system enhancements, including user acceptance testing and process improvements designed to optimize operational workflows.
• Implement proactive measures to enhance operational processes and mitigate risks.
• Oversee payment processing via SWIFT Alliance, ensuring accurate release of payments.
• Generate trade advisories, account statements, and assist in preparing periodic reports.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counterparts to resolve operational issues effectively.
• Support various ad hoc projects and operational initiatives as required.
• Liaise and communicate in Mandarin with Native Chinese clients and stakeholders from HQ.

Requirement:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a relevant field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience within the banking sector, focusing on Private Wealth Management Operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Avaloq is advantageous.
• Proficient in Mandarin in order to liaise and communicate with Native Chinese clients and stakeholders from HQ.
