Deputy Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Team Leader in overall management and implementation of the consultancy assignment.
  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities and ensure effective deployment of project resources.
  • Monitor planning, design review, construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
  • Review contractor work programs, progress reports, quality assurance plans, method statements, and construction schedules.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with MP Jal Nigam, contractors, consultants, local authorities, and other stakeholders for smooth project execution.
  • Support contract management, claim reviews, variation orders, and dispute resolution activities.
  • Supervise multidisciplinary experts and provide technical guidance to the project team.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, social, health, and safety requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and progress review meetings and provide recommendations for resolving implementation challenges.
  • Prepare project reports, presentations, management updates, and other project documentation.
  • Act as Team Leader during the Team Leader's absence and represent the consultancy in meetings with the client and stakeholders.
