This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor(a) Pleno Back-End based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to work on robust backend systems and integrations that support scalable digital solutions in a highly collaborative and distributed environment. You will be responsible for building and maintaining microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures that ensure reliable communication between systems. The position involves working with modern backend technologies, applying best practices in software engineering, and contributing to the stability and evolution of complex platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and stakeholders, to translate business needs into technical solutions. In addition, you will play an active role in improving code quality, identifying root causes of issues, and ensuring system performance and reliability. This is a strong opportunity for a backend developer who enjoys solving technical challenges and working with modern distributed architectures.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and evolve backend services using JavaScript (Node.js) and other supported technologies.
  • Design, implement, and document RESTful APIs ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Build and maintain microservices and system integrations using messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
  • Work with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Aurora) using SQL for data modeling and queries.
  • Implement asynchronous communication between systems using event-driven architecture principles.
  • Apply best practices such as SOLID principles, Clean Code, and unit testing (JUnit or equivalent).
  • Monitor systems, analyze logs (e.g., DataDog), and troubleshoot production issues by identifying root causes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum) and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and architecture.
  • Stay updated with modern backend technologies and propose improvements in system design and integration strategies.

    • Requirements:

    • Experience in backend development using JavaScript (Node.js preferred), Java, C#, or Python.
    • Strong experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
    • Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
    • Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies.
    • Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Aurora).
    • Familiarity with caching systems such as Redis.
    • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
    • Understanding of software engineering principles such as SOLID, Clean Code, and Agile methodologies (Scrum).
    • Experience with testing practices, logs monitoring, and debugging production systems.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to work collaboratively.
