Design Automation Specialist
We are on a mission to pioneer the world’s next era of play. As we grow across Europe and Latin America, we’re building The Playstack - the technology powering the next generation of sports, gaming, and fan experiences. Join us, and help make it the most widely used platform in the world! From operations, to marketing, to product, we are looking for talented people who will shape how millions of customers play, watch, and connect every day.
As a Design Automation Specialist at Super, you will be embedded directly within our internal studio at a pivotal moment — our creative department is undergoing a fundamental transformation in how it works. Working closely with the Creative Department, this role is responsible for designing, building, and implementing AI-powered automation workflows across graphic and motion design pipelines, with success measured by the number of workflows transformed and adopted, and the extent to which designers start any task with an AI tool.
What the role involves
- Build custom tools, agents, automations, and skills tailored to static and motion design projects, integrating generative AI tools into creative production pipelines
- Analyse existing workflows and document the highest-leverage transformation opportunities by developing a deep understanding of creative processes and requirements
- Build structured, repeatable systems that improve efficiency and output quality across the studio
- Collaborate with designers, art directors, and creative leads to ensure solutions align with creative goals
- Coach and partner with each designer through a progressive journey — from initial awareness, to regular AI integration, to full workflow transformation
- Drive adoption of implemented workflows across the Creative Department, sharing wins with the team and leadership to celebrate success and build momentum
- Continuously test, refine, and improve automation systems based on team feedback and performance data
- Document workflows clearly to support internal use, onboarding, and scalability
What we are looking for
- Experience working with graphic design and motion design pipelines
- Hands-on experience with traditional design tools, including Figma, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, or Premiere
- Practical experience with leading AI models and platforms (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and generative AI tools for image and video production
- Strong systematic and analytical thinking, with the ability to break down complex problems into structured, scalable solutions
- Ability to translate technical solutions into practical, accessible tools for creative teams
- Proven coaching and communication skills, with the ability to create genuine desire for progress and adapt the approach to each individual
- Comfortable working cross-functionally within a creative environment
- Proactive, experimentation-driven mindset
Application requirements
Candidates should submit the following alongside their application:
- A portfolio showcasing relevant work
- Case studies describing the processes, tools, and workflows used
- Examples of automation, AI integration, or workflow optimisation projects
Nice to have
- Experience with scripting or no-code/low-code automation tools
- Familiarity with creative coding or procedural design
- Background in production pipelines or creative operations
- A track record of effective coaching and mentoring, with evidence of genuine workflow transformation
What we offer
- Medical / Health Insurance
- Open Annual Leave
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Training & Learning Development
Additional benefits vary by country and will be shared during the hiring process.
