Design Engineer (Geotechnical)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide design support for tenders (review soil reports, specs, technical risks)
• Perform geotechnical analysis and design using tools (e.g. Plaxis, Slope/W)
• Prepare technical proposals and construction drawings
• Coordinate with BD and Operations teams on design-related matters
• Conduct site visits to assess ground conditions and validate design assumptions
• Perform QC checks between design and actual site conditions
• Support remedial design solutions during construction
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on technical issues

Requirements

• Degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Plaxis (2D/3D), MS Office
• Knowledge of soil mechanics and geotechnical design principles
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Comfortable working on-site and outdoors
• WSH certification is an advantage

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:00pm
Working Location: Jurong
