Design Engineer (Systems Design)
About the Role
We are seeking a Design Engineer (System Design) to lead the development of air conditioning and heat pump systems, focusing on system performance, control logic, and product reliability.
This role plays a key part in new product development (NPD), ensuring system design meets performance, cost, and project timeline requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop HVAC, air conditioning, and heat pump systems
Define and manage system architecture and control logic specifications
Conduct system performance analysis and validation
Support cost analysis and cost reduction initiatives
Develop and execute test plans and lab validation activities
Manage project schedules and ensure on-time delivery
Ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance with standards
Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams
Contribute to team capability development and knowledge sharing
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HVAC / air conditioning / heat pump system design
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, thermodynamics, and control logic
Experience in system design, testing, and validation
Good project coordination and problem-solving skills
Good command of English (spoken and written)
Able to travel/work abroad (1-2 months)
