Design Engineer (Systems Design)

About the Role

We are seeking a Design Engineer (System Design) to lead the development of air conditioning and heat pump systems, focusing on system performance, control logic, and product reliability.

This role plays a key part in new product development (NPD), ensuring system design meets performance, cost, and project timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop HVAC, air conditioning, and heat pump systems

  • Define and manage system architecture and control logic specifications

  • Conduct system performance analysis and validation

  • Support cost analysis and cost reduction initiatives

  • Develop and execute test plans and lab validation activities

  • Manage project schedules and ensure on-time delivery

  • Ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance with standards

  • Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams

  • Contribute to team capability development and knowledge sharing

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HVAC / air conditioning / heat pump system design

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, thermodynamics, and control logic

  • Experience in system design, testing, and validation

  • Good project coordination and problem-solving skills

  • Good command of English (spoken and written)

  • Able to travel/work abroad (1-2 months)
