Design Intern
JOB SUMMARY<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/h3>The Design Intern will support the Design Team in concept development, design research, documentation, and presentations. This role is designed to provide hands\-on exposure to professional design practice, project workflows, and multidisciplinary collaboration while contributing to ongoing projects under supervision.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES<\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span>

<\/h4>Assist in developing basic design concepts, mood boards, and visual presentations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Support space planning, furniture layouts, and simple interior detailing tasks.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Assist with material, finishes, furniture, and accessories selection under guidance.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Prepare basic drawings, 3D models, and renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Suite.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Support the preparation of FF&E schedules, drawings, and project documentation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Assist with design research, benchmarking, and sourcing of materials and products.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Participate in site visits, internal design reviews, and client meetings when required.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Support project installations and site coordination activities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Ensure tasks are completed in line with project briefs, timelines, and quality standards.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/p><\/li>Preferably a serving NYSC Corps Member.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p><\/li>Prior internship or studio experience is an advantage but not required.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
