Role Overview:

Roles and Responsibilities:
<\/div>
<\/div>
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Play a key role in the design and implementation of data center infrastructure
<\/div>
<\/div>
projects, including electrical systems, HVAC systems, and fire suppression
<\/div>
<\/div>
systems, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to assess the technical and
<\/div>
<\/div>
operational requirements for new data center projects, collaborating with clients
<\/div>
<\/div>
to develop customized solutions tailored to their specific needs.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical
<\/div>
<\/div>
documentation for data center construction and renovation projects, adhering to
<\/div>
<\/div>
regulatory requirements and best practices.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate the
<\/div>
<\/div>
successful execution of data center projects, managing project schedules,
<\/div>
<\/div>
budgets, and resources to meet client expectations.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Direct a team of engineers and designers in the planning, design, and construction
<\/div>
<\/div>
of data center facilities, ensuring compliance with Tier / TIA standards and client
<\/div>
<\/div>
requirements.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Develop comprehensive design strategies to enhance energy efficiency,
<\/div>
<\/div>
scalability, and resilience of data center infrastructure, resulting in significant cost
<\/div>
<\/div>
savings and improved performance.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Collaborate with cross\-functional teams, including project managers, engineers,
<\/div>
<\/div>
and construction professionals, to integrate cutting\-edge technologies and best
<\/div>
<\/div>
practices into facility designs, including modular architectures, cooling systems,
<\/div>
<\/div>
and power distribution solutions.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Lead the evaluation and selection of equipment vendors and contractors,
<\/div>
<\/div>
negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely project
<\/div>
<\/div>
delivery and adherence to quality standards.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Conduct performance testing and commissioning activities to verify the
<\/div>
<\/div>
functionality and reliability of data center systems, identifying and resolving any
<\/div>
<\/div>
issues to ensure seamless operations.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Conduct regular site inspections and performance audits to identify opportunities
<\/div>
<\/div>
for process improvements and implement corrective actions as needed.
<\/div>
<\/div>
\u2022 Lead and mentor a team of enfineers, providing guidance, support, and coaching
<\/div>
<\/div>
to drive individual and team performance. Foster a collaborative and high\-
<\/div>
<\/div>
performance culture within the team.
<\/div>
<\/div>
Key Skills & Competencies:
<\/div>
<\/div>
✓ Data Center design fundamental knowledge and functioning of subsystems like
<\/div>
<\/div>
electrical, HVAC, Electrical System, BMS, etc., and understanding of Tier
<\/div>
<\/div>
standards
<\/div>
<\/div>
✓ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport
<\/div>
<\/div>
and establish trust with clients.
<\/div>
<\/div>
✓ Excellent negotiation and problem\-solving abilities with a customer\-centric
<\/div>
<\/div>
approach to account management.
<\/div>
<\/div>
✓ Shall be able to lead the team and also work on design, preparation of technical
<\/div>
<\/div>
specifications, Bill of Quantities, costing and Tender Documents.
<\/div>
<\/div>
Qualifications & Skillsets:
<\/div>
<\/div>
✓ Bachelor's degree in Engineering
<\/div>
<\/div>
✓ CDCP / CDCS / ATD preferred
<\/div>
<\/div>
✓ Deep understanding of relevant technologies, tools, and systems pertaining to
<\/div>
<\/div>
