Developer Success Engineer

You will lead customers through short, outcome-driven technical engagements to accelerate adoption and successful launches. You will provide implementation guidance on builds, caching, performance, and cost efficiency; troubleshoot Next.js, serverless functions, build pipelines, and integrations; identify and unblock growth opportunities; author playbooks, documentation, and knowledge-base articles; collaborate with Sales, Support, and Product to escalate complex issues; and analyze customer patterns to recommend optimizations that improve adoption and stability.

Responsibilities

• Lead customers through defined technical motions for onboarding, go-live, and post-launch stabilization
• Provide implementation guidance for builds, caching, web performance, and cost efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Next.js, serverless functions, build pipelines, and integrations
• Identify and unblock opportunities for customer growth and expansion
• Author and maintain playbooks, documentation, and knowledge base articles
• Collaborate with Sales, Support, and Product to escalate issues and influence product improvements
• Analyze customer patterns and recommend optimizations to improve adoption and performance

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development, technical support, solutions engineering, or a customer-facing technical role
• Strong knowledge of Next.js, React, and modern web performance best practices
• Familiarity with troubleshooting frontend build systems, serverless runtimes, and API integrations
• Ability to diagnose complex technical issues and provide structured recommendations with empathy and clarity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for async and live channels
• Experience using Vercel, Next.js, or a comparable platform
