DevOps Team Lead, Core Foundation

You will lead and mentor a globally distributed DevOps/SRE team, focusing on operations, planning, and delivery rather than day-to-day individual contributions. You will own execution of major infrastructure roadmap items, design and refine support workflows, drive change management across engineering and product domains, and orchestrate complex rollouts and deployments. You will manage and optimize the global on-call rotation, lead incident response (using Rootly), run blameless post‑mortems, and ensure high availability and operational resilience. You should be able to fluently discuss concepts across Kubernetes (GKE), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), relational databases (PostgreSQL), and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos).

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager DevOps Lead or Site Reliability Engineering Lead managing globally distributed teams
  • Exceptional people management and coaching skills across multiple time zones
  • Deep expertise in engineering support frameworks roadmap planning and team prioritization
  • Proven ownership of change management lifecycles and ability to break down organizational silos
  • Extensive experience with incident management and running sustainable on-call rotations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for coordinating multi-stage rollouts
  • Solid technical background with Kubernetes (GKE) Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) PostgreSQL Prometheus Grafana and Thanos
  • Experience with incident response tooling such as Rootly
