This role is designed to support the next phase of DFN's global growth. It focuses on driving sales within a single country, managing a portfolio of active opportunities, and building strong relationships with small to medium-sized eCommerce customers.

The role is highly hands-on, centred on day-to-day customer engagement, resolving issues, and converting inbound leads into successful deals. It also forms the foundation of DFN's future sales structure, creating a clear career pathway as the organisation scales globally.

Your key accountabilities include:

Enlarge DHL Fulfilment Network's customer base in the UKI by…

  • Starting lead generation through digital and social selling by utilising the Salesforce CRM lead queue to qualify inbound leads
  • Converting leads into real sales opportunities and owning them until they become business won (e.g. owning SF.com process, contract preparation)
  • Building relationships with, for example, eCS/DHL Express to contribute to cross-business unit lead exchanges through regular exchanges with XBU points of contact in the sales community
  • Managing up to 10 “live” opportunities at any given time in our Salesforce CRM from early lead stage of an opportunity through to winning and closing an opportunity.
  • Responsible for analysing early leads and collating data on them for the Sales Leader.
  • Acting as commercial point of contact to capture structural customer data needed for pricing and proposal creation
  • Working closely with marketing to improve digital marketing campaign
  • Establishing DHL Supply Chain and the DHL Fulfilment Network in the local eCommerce community
  • Fostering relationships with DHL sites and sales individuals across business units by visiting relevant operational sites and engaging in regular meetings with the local DHL Supply Chain Sales community (where applicable)
  • Acting as local change manager to establish new way of working within DHL Fulfilment Network standards

What are we looking for from you?

  • Degree level education
  • English (full professional proficiency)
  • Team player passionate about transactional sales, managing multiple opportunities simultaneously and closing ability
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, willing to take initiative in growing the business in a new country
  • Sales background in a consultative selling environment, preferably in eCommerce (3+ years)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong affinity & insights into the eCommerce market / eCommerce needs and business models
  • Understanding of developing market and business trends
  • Knowledge of Fulfilment & Last Mile Operations
  • Process-oriented with structural and collaborative approach
  • Working experience in B2C company or within a logistics provider are beneficial
