Responsibilities
Specialized medical professionals in the art of roentgenography. Patient care specialist that works as both individual-care-provider and as part of a diagnostic team under the guidance of a Diagnostic Supervisor & the Radiologists. Performs tasks abiding by P&P, State Regulations, & ALARA radiation safety principles. Utilizes x-ray photon producing equipment to image the human body. Works under potentially stressful situations i.e., trauma cases. Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI activities.Qualifications
Education• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology required Licenses and Certifications• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required• CRT - State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist requiredDisclaimers
