Receives and reviews requests from physicians and other health care providers for diagnostic x-ray examinations of patients.

Determines the condition(s) at issue and the procedures and equipment necessary to best meet the needs of the individual case.

Receives patient, explains method of procedure, positions patient, and select primary factors.

Monitors equipment operation for quality assurances/quality control purposes.

Safeguards and protects the personal information of all patients (HIPPA) from unauthorized disclosure.

Provide assistance with on-the-job training of new employees or Soldiers in training.
