Summary Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Die Cutting Supervisor. While reporting to the Plant Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the efficient flow of materials and information within our organization. You will be responsible for coordinating the activities of employees in your department. Your role will involve various aspects of the manufacturing process, such machine reliability, quality assurance, and production efficiency.
What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment in all areas of the facility.
- Responsible for product safety, quality, and production efficiencies within the Die Cutting Department.
- Attend quality gemba walks to monitor quality of product and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Plant Superintendent, Plant Engineer, and department supervisors.
- Create and maintain production schedule to balance deadlines and operating efficiencies.
- Attend all Production Meetings and be prepared to discuss the production schedule and job deadlines.
- Review customer specifications to ensure packing material and pallet organization is correct.
- Maintain die cutting KPIs and report out to management.
- Manage die cutting employee training and performance as necessary.
- Maintain accurate inventory for Die Cutting department.
- Ensure machine reliability through the timely submission of work orders in our CMMS.
- Review and correct production documentation for compliance to FSSC governing body.
- Manage Timecards/Payroll for maintenance associates.
This an ONSITE position located out of our Waco, TX Facility
We’d love to hear from you if:
- You have a four-year degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Management, or the sciences.
- 1 - 3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
- 5 - 10 years of manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency using ePS, SAP, or an applicable ERP system.
- Proficiency using UKG, and Coupa.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
