Dietitian

About Role:

In this role, you will provide evidence-based nutritional care and counselling to diverse patient populations, working collaboratively with medical professionals to optimise health outcomes through personalised dietary interventions. You will combine clinical expertise with strong interpersonal skills to educate and support clients in achieving their nutritional and wellness goals. This role is on a casual basis.

The successful applicant will provide nutrition care to patients across surgical, gastrointestinal, oncology and medical specialties, including nutrition support, malnutrition management, and peri-operative nutrition care.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Dietetics and be eligible for full membership to Dietitians Australia as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian.
  • Demonstrated ability to appropriately apply Evidence Based Practice and Dietetic knowledge to patient management.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work autonomously.
  • Minimum 2 years acute hospital dietetic experience highly desirable
  • Ability to manage a clinical caseload autonomously.
