The Opportunity
The Digital and Social Content Lead is a unique opportunity designed to help build and grow a direct-to-consumer eCommerce business within one of Australia’s most established brands. Operating at venture pace with the backing of Reece, you’ll play a key role in shaping how the brand shows up digitally, owning content, performance and optimisation end-to-end.
Working within the Marketing team, you’ll take a hands-on approach to content creation and delivery across digital and social channels, ensuring everything is aligned to commercial outcomes. You’ll also work closely with Operations Lead; founder and enthusiast of venture pace, our merchandising and category stakeholders to ensure content drives product engagement and sales.
Key Responsibilities
This is a hands on creative leadership role where you’ll:
Create, write and publish content across web and social channels (including video, product and editorial content)
Translate campaigns, launches and trading priorities into a clear publishing cadence
Collaborate with internal design and content teams to scale output while maintaining quality
Apply SEO, UX and accessibility best practices from the outset
Partner closely with Merchandising and category leads to ensure content supports product and sales performance
Align with marketing direction while operating with autonomy and pace
Support the ongoing development, management and optimisation of the eCommerce platform
Embrace AI platforms and tools to perform your role and accelerate the brand
Bring data and analytics together to understand performance and trends and implement into brand decisions
About You
You are a hands-on, commercially minded content and digital specialist who thrives in fast-paced, build-from-scratch environments. You love the pace of a start-up but looking for security in the work you do. You enjoy taking ownership and using data to inform decisions, with a strong bias toward action.
Key skills and experience:
8+ years’ experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, content or social media
Proven experience creating and delivering digital content end-to-end
Strong understanding of SEO, analytics and major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest)
Experience launching or managing eCommerce websites (highly regarded)
Ability to link content activity to commercial and sales outcomes
Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence across teams
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Background or interest in retail, interiors, design or architecture (preferred)
