Digital Dental Restorative Treatments Designer / Diseñador de Restauración Dental Digital (La Lima)

Role Summary
A leading and innovative medical device company is seeking a Digital Dental Restorative Treatments Designer for its Belen and La Lima, Costa Rica offices. This position plays a key role in advancing digital dentistry by supporting the design of restorative dental treatments through cutting-edge digital workflows that improve patient outcomes. The Digital Dental Restorative Treatments Designer is responsible for designing 3D digital restorative treatment plans using proprietary dental CAD software, based on digital patient scan files provided by dental professionals. The role involves working across the full digital treatment lifecycle, including virtual impression preparation, restorative case setup, margin identification, gingival and anatomical adjustments, and refinement of restorations such as crowns, bridges, and other restorative solutions. The designer must demonstrate a strong understanding of restorative dental concepts, tooth anatomy, occlusion, and functional aesthetics, along with solid computer literacy. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Clinical, Quality, Process Engineering, and Continuous Improvement to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency in every case delivered.

Role Expectations
  • Plan and coordinate the design workflow to ensure on-time delivery of treatment plans to customers.
  • Update and complete cases assigned by the team lead or supervisor, including follow-ups, reassigned cases, and those requiring specialized design support.
  • Identify, update, and report incorrect or outdated customer and patient information across internal databases.
  • Propose ideas and improvements to procedures and processes to enhance service quality, customer satisfaction, and overall departmental performance.
