Title: Digital Marketing and AI Operations Manager

Location: Cluj-Napoca Romania

Office-Based: 5 days Onsite

The role holder serves as a strategic bridge between leadership vision and team execution, ensuring that the programs under the LLM Program Manager’s accountability are correctly set up for success, all the workstreams and use cases within them are properly defined and measured, while the platform and workstream leads are all aligned to the overall vision, all of the above transferring into actionable roadmaps and clear project plans. Within the role, you will be the indispensable person facilitating the collaboration between all involved parties, taking on hands-on responsibility for some of the key activities or work streams from the programs in scope, while maintaining the overall responsibility for program and project lifecycle management & delivery for Online Awareness and AI-driven marketing initiatives, ensuring vision translates into operational success. This role oversees the builds and releases of complex digital projects, managing programs across 3rd party & internal GenAI and agentic AI platforms while driving specialized strategies for generative search optimization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Lifecycle & Operational Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end build and release phases for all projects related to Online Awareness and AI in Marketing.
  • Drive process creation and workflow optimization to increase the efficiency of project delivery and cross-functional coordination.
  • Elevate project management standards to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Manage the central repository for project documentation, maintaining high standards of integrity and organization.

AI Operations & Use Case Enablement

  • Own the program & project management and enablement of AI use cases across multiple platforms, including 3rd party and internal GenAI and agentic AI applications, resulting in clear and complete project plans/trackers.
  • Create and maintain a centralized use-case intake & management framework for AI-enhanced processes & projects, while working hands-on with the business owners to define and document their needs in a platform-agnostic way, defining whether their needs require AI, GenAI, or agentic AI support, then feeding these use cases/BRDs into the created framework
  • Work with the LLM Program Manager and AI/GenAI/Agentic AI platform owners and vendors to consolidate and maintain a centralized roadmap for the AI adoption and usage strategy
  • Work with the LLM program manager to implement a coherent program governance framework, operationalizing the project plans and holding all stakeholders accountable for their workstreams, while ensuring smooth escalation protocols & regular updates for program sponsors
  • Work with the AI applications/agents’ owners and the LLM Program Manager to define and maintain a success tracking system for all existing and incoming use-cases, demonstrating benefits incurred and impact within the organization
  • Work with the AI platform leads/vendors to develop and establish an AI adoption roadmap, suggesting and implementing engagement strategies to expand AI adoption, impact, and usage across marketing, while keeping program sponsors and executive leadership up to date through regular reporting
  • Work with the Brand, content, and legal teams to ensure consistent compliance and coherent implementation of all needed guidelines and guardrails within AI platforms
  • Work with the LLM program manager, Vertiv.com & Portals Director, as well as the web chat project lead, to articulate the project plan, roadmap, and own the project tracking and reporting for the expansion of existing digital assistants across Vertiv's internal and external audiences
  • Collaborate with AI/ML specialists & AI platform leads to ensure technical implementations of AI tools support broader marketing business goals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the AI operations workflow to drive organizational AI adoption.

Online Awareness & Digital Buying Experiences Enablement

  • Own project and program management of the specialized projects for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to ensure Vertiv’s digital presence remains future-ready, transferring the overarching vision into clear project plans & deliverable roadmaps, while ensuring the program governance framework is applied consistently, for the Online Awareness KPIs to be reached
  • Work with the SEO/GEO, website, content, and brand teams to facilitate the implementation of the On-Page and Technical SEO/GEO workstreams, to ensure organic URL impressions, branded URL impressions, AI Overviews, and LLM Visibility KPIs are reached
  • Work with the SEO/GEO & public relations team to facilitate the implementation of the Off-Page SEO/GEO strategies, ensuring the organic URL impressions, branded URL impressions, AI Overviews, and LLM Visibility KPIs are reached
  • Work with the brand, social media, content, and SEO/GEO teams to ensure alignment between the corporate, social, YouTube and PR content governance and strategies, and the Generative Engine Optimization objectives under Online Awareness.
  • Apply expertise in inbound marketing and demand generation to enhance digital product discovery and buying experiences, working with the XR Experiences Supervisor and the website team to centralize and coordinate the project tracking and reporting activities for the digital product experience upgrade, as well as extended reality (XR) experiences development and embedment within the web-based user experience.
  • Balance business strategy with data insights to generate unique solutions for digital marketing initiatives.

Strategic Partnership & Coordination

  • Become an indispensable strategic partner to the Large Language Program Manager, ensuring alignment between high-level roadmaps and daily execution.
  • Coordinate with offering managers, product marketing, designers, and developers to navigate project dependencies and risks.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Knowledge & Skills:

  • 6-8 years of previous experience in digital marketing with proven project management responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Marketing, PR, Communication Sciences, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing, holistic conversion rate optimization, inbound, outbound, SEO, GEO, and artificial intelligence
  • Excellent project management skills with agile methods and a strong knowledge of business processes and their optimizations (project management, Agile, LEAN certifications are a plus).
