Digital & Tech Partner OTC & EU
The R&D Tech Business Partner – OTC provides senior techno‑functional leadership to enable Haleon’s OTC categories, including Pain, Respiratory, Digestive Health, and Skin. The role focuses on accelerating innovation pipelines, Rx‑to‑OTC switches, and lifecycle management through integrated digital, data, and AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
Category & Portfolio Enablement
- Partner with OTC R&D, Category, and Market teams to translate innovation and lifecycle strategies into technology roadmaps.
- Enable digital capabilities supporting Rx‑to‑OTC transitions, claims substantiation, and global dossier readiness.
Data, AI & RWD Leadership
- Define and enable platforms for Real‑World Evidence, post‑launch insights, and consumer usage data.
- Partner with Data Science teams to deploy AI/ML solutions supporting signal detection, formulation optimization, and benefit differentiation
Cross‑Functional Influence
- Align R&D, Regulatory, Medical, Safety, and Commercial stakeholders on tech‑enabled innovation priorities.
- Facilitate decision forums assessing feasibility, risk, and value of OTC technology investments.
Product Ownership & Delivery Oversight
- Own product direction for OTC‑critical digital products including innovation PPM, RWD platforms, and insight dashboards.
- Drive adoption, change management, and measurable value realization across OTC programs.
Basic Qualifications
- Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, with 7+ years' experience in R&D, OTC, Consumer Healthcare, Digital, Data, or Technology functions.
- Track record of translating business strategy into technology roadmaps, digital products, and measurable business outcomes.
- Experience delivering digital, data, and AI-enabled solutions supporting innovation, product development, or lifecycle management.
- Experience with Agile product management, software delivery, and cross-functional product teams.
- Strong understanding of OTC product development, Rx-to-OTC switches, claims substantiation, and consumer health data ecosystems.
- Experience with Real World Data (RWD), analytics platforms, and AI/ML-enabled business solutions.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across R&D, Regulatory, Medical, Safety, and Commercial functions.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive decisions through data and evidence.
- Relentless focus on business value, simplification, product adoption, and enabling innovation through technology.
