Dimension Surveyor

Job Description

• Conduct fit-up and alignment surveys using equipment such as Total Station, Theodolite, Laser Tracker.
• Perform as built and final position surveys for modules and critical piping spools.
• Prepare and submit dimensional control reports and deviation notices.
• Support the QA/QC and engineering teams with accurate survey data and drawings.
• Coordinate with fabrication, rigging, and installation teams for positioning and lifting accuracy.
• Provide rework recommendations for non-compliant dimensions.

Requirement

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Surveying, or related field.
• Proficiency in geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SpatialAnalyzer, or similar dimensional control software.
• Understanding of alignment principles, flange tolerances, and shipyard integration works.
• Competency in survey equipment usage (Total Station, Laser Tracker, etc.).
• Safety training such as Confined Space Entry, Working at Height.
• Calibration training or documentation handling experience is an added benefit.
