The direct care aide will oversee\ndaily activities with the program students. When on duty they will carry out\nthe daily schedule to promote the smooth functioning of the residential\nprogram.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Oversight of the home and daily\noperations within the facility.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Assist the PD, Dean, and Lead\nProgram Guide in compliance with all policies and procedures.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Provide compassionate spiritual\nleadership to students through prayer and direct spiritual guidance.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Cover shifts when other direct care\nstaff are absent.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Administer and oversee disciplinary\nmeasures and procedures that focus on fostering life transformation in each\nstudent, guided by Christian principles and values.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Facilitate compassionate and\neffective communication, serving as a bridge between parents and the program\nwith a spirit of Christian care and understanding.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Maintain weekly Mentor meetings and\nparent communication for all assigned students.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Maintain and document student\u2019s\nprogress, meetings, and communication with parents.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Report facility maintenance needs to\nPD.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Coordinate student passes and enter\nplans into the pass document.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Maintain student information on\nSOBER PEER.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Administer medications to students.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Other duties as assigned as\nnecessary for the benefit and completion of ministry programming.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

● High School Diploma or GED, College\nDegree Preferred<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Must be at least 21 years of age.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Valid Driver's License<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● All applicants will be\nbackground\-checked.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Mature and Godly character.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● TC Graduates must have been out of\nTeen Challenge for at least 12 months.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Amiable to the Assembly of God\ndoctrine.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● In full agreement with the Teen\nChallenge Mission Statement.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

● Must be a person of good character\nwhose integrity is above reproach.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

●\nThe direct care staff must be a person of stable, sound judgment and possess\nspiritual qualities such as patience, needed to work with residents from\nvarious family backgrounds.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
