Qualifications<\/span><\/u> ● She shall be a person of spiritual maturity, amiable\nto the Assemblies of God doctrine, and in full agreement with the ATCOT mission\nstatement<\/span> ● Complete the Effective Biblical Counseling course or\nan equivalent course<\/span> ● Knowledge of Christian discipleship and mentor\nrelationships<\/span> ● High School Diploma or GED<\/span> ● Ideally credentialed as a minister or pursuing\ncredentials in the AG or doctrinally similar fellowship<\/span> ● 30 hours of training in childcare or related field\n(Provided by THRIVE)<\/span> ● Maintain First Aid and CPR certification\n(Certification training provided by THRIVE)<\/span> ● <\/span>A\nbackground check and pastoral reference is required<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span> Preferred Qualifications<\/span><\/u> ● College degree or work experience equivalence<\/span> ● At least 1 year full time ministry experience<\/span> ● <\/span>A good\ndriving record (have or obtain Texas drivers license)<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span> Relationships<\/span> ● The Direct Care staff is responsible to the Campus\nDirector<\/span> She will primarily serve as a minister to adolescent girls students in\nthe THRIVE program.<\/span> her responsibilities include but not be limited to:<\/span> ● Conduct Bible studies<\/span> ● Lead prayer<\/span> ● Disciple students<\/span> ● Conduct evangelistic outreach<\/span> ● Engage in religious instruction<\/span> ● Work with other departments to comply with all Texas\nDFPS regulations<\/span> ● Participate in campus events and chapels as required<\/span> ● Supervision, mentoring, and interacting with\nresidents during various activities, which may include but is not limited to\nschool, work periods, free time, and recreational activities<\/span> ● Administer discipline as is necessary according to\nTHRIVE policies<\/span> ● Minister to students as opportunity arises and/or\nduring scheduled sessions<\/span> ● Provide and effectively communicate vision and\nplanning for all aspects of the campus<\/span> ● Be supportive of the Teen Challenge National\nAccreditation Standards and fully cooperative with the Teen Challenge National Office<\/span> ● Be responsible for the physical, spiritual, and\nemotional welfare and development of the students while on the campus<\/span> ● Be responsible for the supervision and guidance of\nthe program staff<\/span> ● Become a mentor to students<\/span> ● All other duties as assigned by Director<\/span>
