Director, Commercial Sales
You will own the commercial sales motion for EMEA: drive pipeline, forecasting, and revenue attainment for the mid-market and growth segments. You will hire, onboard, and develop Commercial AEs, coach them on territory planning and prospecting, and participate in deals when needed. You will build repeatable processes, playbooks, and forecasting frameworks, collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure smooth handoffs, and pursue expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
Responsibilities
- Own EMEA commercial sales pipeline, forecasting, and revenue attainment
- Hire, onboard, and develop a team of Commercial AEs
- Drive a high-velocity sales motion with short cycles and efficient deal management
- Coach AEs on territory planning and prospecting strategies
- Partner with Marketing and SDR leadership to build and convert inbound and outbound pipeline
- Develop commercial messaging and positioning for engineering leaders and CTOs
- Accurately forecast and report team activity and revenue
- Build scalable processes, playbooks, and onboarding frameworks
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Legal for smooth handoffs and retention
- Identify and coach on expansion opportunities within the commercial customer base
- Represent the company at industry events and customer engagements
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience in a SaaS or technical software environment
- Proven ability to hire, ramp, and develop commercial AEs
- Deep understanding of commercial sales motions, pipeline management, and qualification
- Experience selling into engineering, product, or technical leadership at scaling companies
- Data-driven approach to team management and forecasting
- Hands-on leadership comfortable participating in deals and calls
- Fluency in English; additional European languages (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic) are a plus
- Familiarity with developer tooling, frontend infrastructure, or cloud platforms is advantageous
- Based in London
