Director, Cyber Advisory

We are looking for bright, inquisitive minds who are experienced in and passionate about cybersecurity consulting and advisory services. Our Advisory team responds to our Client’s needs and provide leadership and strategic guidance when and where it is needed the most. We are expanding our Governance, Risk and Compliance Security Services. Successful candidates will provide our clients with guidance pertaining to security and privacy regulatory and industry standard requirements, security risk assessments, and GRC consulting.


DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and support a variety of global cyber operations and advisory engagements

  • Define and execute the region strategy by developing new offerings and evolving service portfolio based on market trends, competitive positioning and global strategy.

  • Own P&L responsibility for the region

  • Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and expansion within existing accounts

  • Manage key accounts and channels; Build pipeline and ensure achievement of sales targets

  • Act as an executive sponsor on key client engagements

  • Serve as a senior advisor to clients on complex business and technology challenges.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow the regional team, and support career paths

  • Drive recruitment, retention, and professional development

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability

  • Act as an executive sponsor and manage service line engagements

  • Ensure delivery quality, client satisfaction, and value realization

  • Manage risk, scope, and performance across engagements

  • Serve as a senior advisor to clients on complex business and technology challenges.

  • Manage engagement financials

  • Oversee service line financials including utilization, margins, and cost management

  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure operational efficiency

  • Optimize delivery models, tools, and processes

  • Collaborate with consulting and managed services partners to build and execute plans.

  • Understanding customer business drivers and strategies, architectures, cloud adoption roadmaps, operating models, KPI, to measure and monitor benefits realization.

  • Support the development of proposals and statements of work for Kroll clients

  • Support the development of new business opportunities

  • Foster client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance

  • Resolve client issues appropriately that could threaten or enhance opportunity to the Kroll/client relationship

ESSENTIAL TRAITS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or similar advanced degree is preferred

  • 12+ years of experience in security governance, risk assessments and regulatory/controls experience

  • CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIPM, CIPP certifications preferred

  • Solid understanding of the evolving security and privacy controls environment, regulatory landscape and risk management techniques, principles and practices

  • Has a passion for security and enjoys solving problems

  • Prior consulting and leadership/management experience

  • In-depth knowledge of the security threat landscape, control frameworks and compliance strategies

  • Fluent in enterprise resource planning and business process analysis

  • Strong team, project and client management experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Flexible team player, with strong interpersonal skills

  • A critical thinker and problem solver with attention to detail and adaptability.

  • Ability to handle difficult situations in a productive manner

  • Outstanding organizational skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

  • Experience working with diverse teams

  • Ability to travel up to 25% as required to support response activities
