The E2E Planning Leader owns the Global Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and plan process maturity improvements for the Mentor business. The E2E Leader has responsibility for both, Global Planning and Materials Management teams.

They will serve as a leader in the MNT SC organization, partnering with global commercial and regional teams to collect, analyze, consolidate, and report data and metrics to improve the decision-making process, whilst ensuring IBP process adherence and driving opportunities for process maturity improvement. They are responsible for attaining global key performance indicators including customer service (OTIF/Backorders) and inventory (gross/net dollars, DOS).

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Ownership of overall Mentor IBP process including leading the global Mentor Executive IBP with senior management to communicate risks, opportunities, and scenarios while driving decisions to support business goals
  • Ownership of the Mentor global service review meeting (STEM management) with commercial and supply chain partners to communicate service risks, actions and escalation to SCLT.
  • Materials/Supplier Management (FG, RM, Accessories, Subs-components) and governance/escalation to ensure proactive mitigation and timely escalation of issues and opportunities.
  • Generation of long-term demand and supply strategy for key product portfolios, partnering with Global Strategic Marketing and New Product Management to develop demand scenarios and strategies.
  • Responsible for supporting plan process maturity improvements for Mentor business, partnering with MedTech Planning Strategy and Capabilities team
  • Ability to influence Director and VP levels within the organization (Commercial, Finance and Supply Chain) and in a multi-stakeholder environment
  • IBP Planning Excellence and Process Maturity assessments
  • Lead the planning portion of the operations and inventory business planning processes for financial submission cycles
  • Ownership of key supplier S&OP and process adherence.
  • Responsible for identifying and initiating planning scenarios to drive/support decision making through the process.
  • Responsible for identifying and driving improvements of the IBP, demand, inventory and network planning processes, including planning and parameters. Understand impact of required changes.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or University equivalent) is required (preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Logistics, or Operations).
  • Master’s degree or MBA is preferred
  • 8-10 years of related experience

  • A bachelor’s degree minimum
  • A minimum of 10 years of related business experience
  • Strong planning process knowledge. Deep capabilities in planning systems and reporting.
  • Ability to influence at all levels both within the Supply Chain, with Commercial, and other key
  • cross-functional partners, in a matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complexity across a broad product portfolio

Preferred Skills:

  • An MBA, Master’s Degree, or other Advanced degree
  • Understanding of standard planning processes and systems STEM, S&OP processes, JDE
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.

  • This position will require up to 25% domestic travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$150,000.00 to $227,587.50
