SALARY:
New York: $163,200 - 193,800, bonus eligible and long-term incentive eligible
St. Louis: $133,600 - $158,650, bonus eligible and long-term incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Director, Commercial Finance Transformation serves as the strategic connection between Commercial Finance, Technology, Sales, and Marketing teams, driving the modernization of how AB InBev manages, measures, and optimizes commercial investments. This role owns the end-to-end transformation agenda—from data capture and governance to reporting infrastructure and decision-support tools—ensuring the organization can maximize ROI on commercial investments through data-driven resource allocation and operational excellence. The position reports to the Sr. Director, Commercial Finance (Resource Allocation & Business Cycle Planning) under the VP of Commercial Finance & Planning.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define and execute the commercial finance transformation roadmap, balancing quick wins with sustainable infrastructure investments, and establishing a target operating model across Finance, Commercial Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Technology
Serve as the voice of Commercial Finance to Technology, translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements and managing prioritization across constrained development resources
Own data quality and governance initiatives that enable commercial resource allocation, including driving improvements in brand, geography, and time-in-market attribution accuracy across all investment data
Lead rationalization and consolidation of data capture portals to reduce duplicate effort, improve data fidelity, and unlock automated feeds into financial reporting processes
Modernize and streamline the Latest Estimate (LE) process and Anaplan resource allocation models, reducing complexity for end users while maintaining data quality and reporting rigor
Drive evolution of the Power BI reporting suite to meet the day-to-day management needs of field teams and PPMs, identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and eliminate duplicative work
Build strong, trust-based partnerships with Technology, field teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, driving user adoption of new tools and representing Commercial Finance in key forums
Lead cross-functional alignment on priorities, delivery timelines, and organizational ways of working, with a focus on accelerating progress and reducing rework across the development lifecycle
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate bachelor's degree highly preferred
Track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact
Strong technical acumen with working knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools; experience with Anaplan, Power BI, or SQL/data modeling a plus
Exceptional stakeholder management and influence skills; ability to drive outcomes and alignment without direct authority across functions
Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex analysis into relevant insights for senior leadership
Experience translating ambiguous business problems into clear requirements and actionable plans, particularly in partnership with technology or development teams
Knowledge of commercial finance processes including resource allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and investment tracking preferred
