Director, Global Creative Advertising

This role is instrumental in managing projects across two Creative Advertising pods. Primary responsibilities are the management of international print and audio-visual materials used in promoting feature films. This role requires the flexibility and focus to manage creative materials for multiple movies simultaneously at varying stages of the creative process. This person will foster strong relationships both in home office and with international markets around the world. They must be able to make decisions confidently and quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review creative with creative advertising executives and supervise copy and art revisions and/or next steps to outside agencies; traffic creative materials to and from outside agencies

  • Liaise regularly with respective territories and ensure materials are provided on a timely basis

  • Oversee legal and clearance of global print and A/V material

  • Monitor the development, production, and worldwide distribution of all creative material

  • Assist with asset management of international-specific material

  • Monitor creative changes and prepare materials for presentation

  • Compile feedback from global territories and share with respective teams

  • Submit creative material to talent for approval

  • Supervise the finishing and translating of creative materials for all territories

  • Work in tandem with print production to develop and implement schedules to meet material deadlines

  • Oversee the finishing of key art for use in international key art, one-sheets, outdoor (e.g., approve color correction and re-touching)

  • Manage high-security film elements and delivery of source materials to outside agencies

  • Oversee audio visual post-production in the finishing of international trailers, TV, radio, and digital spots (e.g., approve color correction for AV materials, mixes, and promotional reels)

Requirements:

  • BA required

  • 6-8 years of entertainment marketing experience at a studio or entertainment creative agency

  • Experience managing a high volume of campaigns in parallel, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and vendors

  • Deep knowledge of international marketing campaigns and of the creative process, timelines, and resource allocation

  • Experience with brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution

  • Quick learner with energy to drive aggressive and flexible deadlines while managing multiple priorities

  • Confident in presenting ideas and thinking with coherence and conviction

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing business needs

  • Must work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

The anticipated base salary for this position is $133,581 to $173,655. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
