Director, Human Resources | Up to $14k

Working Location: CBD Area

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30AM – 5.30PM

Position Overview
The Director, Human Resources is responsible for leading and overseeing the full spectrum of HR functions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and driving effective people strategies. This role plays a key part in workforce planning, talent management, organisational development, and fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives and organisational growth.
• Drive workforce planning, including talent forecasting, succession planning, and capability development.
• Lead recruitment and talent management initiatives, including performance management, career development, and retention strategies.
• Design and implement learning and development programmes to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
• Oversee employee relations, including grievance handling, disciplinary matters, and policy implementation.
• Promote employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and a positive organisational culture.
• Manage compensation and benefits frameworks to ensure competitiveness and alignment with organisational guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 12–15 years of HR experience, with at least 5–7 years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience in strategic HR planning, organisational development, and change management.
• Proven leadership capability with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels.
• Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
