Director, MEA Project Procurement, Luxury & Lifestyle Procurement

The Projects team is dedicated to supporting Accor’s opening teams and owners by delivering a tailored procurement value proposition. This role simplifies the pre-opening process, generates value for all stakeholders, and ensures compliance with Accor’s procurement policies. As a trusted advisor to owners, you will provide end-to-end procurement support throughout the pre-opening phase.

Key responsabilities:

  • Define and lead the end-to-end pre-opening procurement strategy for the Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio across MEA, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and owner expectations.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Brand D&TS, Development, Operations, and Finance to deliver integrated project outcomes.

  • Own BOQs, budgets, and procurement roadmaps; manage a network of Procurement Agents and external consultants with clear performance standards.

  • Lead mock-up reviews, OS&E design presentations, and takeover evaluations, representing Accor procurement at senior owner and brand forums.

  • Project P&L tracking and revenue collection; deliver executive-level strategic reporting to SVPs, VPOs, and C-suite stakeholders.

  • Anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks — including lead time exposure, geopolitical disruption, and currency volatility — that could impact project opening dates or budget integrity

  • Enforce brand standards throughout the procurement process; identify, escalate, and resolve deviations in coordination with brand, operations, and ownership stakeholders without compromising timelines or budgets

  • Develop internal procurement capability by mentoring junior pre-opening coordinators and procurement officers across the MEA region; embed repeatable processes and tools across the portfolio

  • 15 years in procurement, supply chain, or project management within luxury hospitality
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-property or multi-country program budgets, including forecasting, cost tracking, variance analysis, and executive reporting
  • Grounded understanding of hotel operations, with the credibility to engage GMs, Heads of Department, and opening teams on operational readiness and procurement sequencing
  • Proficiency in ERP or procurement platforms
  • Established knowledge of luxury FF&E manufacturers, OS&E distributors, and freight/logistics networks across MEA markets, including customs and last-mile considerations
  • Expert negotiation and contract management.
  • Strong programme management and P&L ownership 6 PMP or equivalent certification preferred..
  • Proven ability to drive procurement process adoption across diverse pre-opening teams operating under time pressure
  • Travel 40%+ across the MEA region and market experience of this region is strongly preferred.
