Priory Hospital Norwich is a 24/7, mental health inpatient provision, which provides care for males and females, split across wards which care for differing levels of acuity. We accept referrals from across the UK, and support the NHS with patient flow, by providing a pathway of care, suited to individual needs, including medium to high risk patients.

Priory’s acute and PICU services aim to allow more people to be treated closer to home and we support the NHS to repatriate out-of-area patients back to local areas. Norwich also provides a 24/7, rapid response drug and alcohol service including detox.

Reporting into the Hospital Director, the Director of Clinical Services (DoCS) forms part of the hospital Senior Management Team and is wholly responsible for the clinical services operation (nursing and therapy) within the hospital. The post holder will ensure the highest level of patient care is provided to all patients.

Essential
- Hold current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) along with Mental Health.
- A strong understanding of statutory regulations, with a passion for delivering high-quality care and driving continuous improvement.
- Demonstrates effective leadership and decision-making skills, while being forward-thinking, proactive, and creative in approach.
