Director of E-commerce Growth

  • Scale Shopify and TikTok Shop: Drive $20M+ in combined revenue within 18 months, with margin targets of ≥15% for Shopify and ≥5% for TikTok Shop.
  • Lead Growth Engine: Build a repeatable DTC growth system, launching 1 high-converting funnel per month using ads, UGC, CRO, and email/SMS.
  • Profitable Acquisition: Ensure ROAS ≥ 2.0 on Shopify and ≥ 3.5 on TikTok Shop by hitting unit economics goals.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and manage a high-performing ecommerce team, fostering ownership and supporting rapid execution without burnout.
  • CEO Autonomy: Own strategy, team, and decisions, removing the CEO from day-to-day execution and delivering clear, actionable insights and growth plans.

Regular Work Activities (80% Ongoing):

  • Traffic & Acquisition: Test 100+ ad creatives weekly, manage Meta and TikTok ads, and repurpose top-performing content.
  • Funnels & CRO: Launch 1 new bundle-based funnel each month, optimize KPIs (CVR, AOV, CAC, LTV, etc.), and manage homepage/product page alignment with funnels.
  • Customer Nurture & LTV: Drive email/SMS strategy for 25%+ Shopify revenue, optimize lifecycle flows, and develop blog/SEO content strategies.
  • Performance Reporting: Review weekly P&Ls, KPIs, and deliver scorecards with insights, preparing monthly strategic plans.
  • Team Development: Lead weekly team meetings, hire and onboard new members, and ensure team alignment with company values.
  • Systems & Process Ownership: Improve ecommerce SOPs, establish weekly operating cadences, and create scalable internal systems for efficient execution.
  • Strong written and verbal english communication skills

Role Requirements

Experience, Training, and Education – What prior work and life experience will help the person in this role succeed? (Education, industry-specific, sales, administrative, management, customer-service)

  • 5–10+ years in DTC Ecommerce (Shopify + paid social)
  • Proven track record of scaling Ecom brands north of $20M
  • Experience owning revenue and profitability targets
  • Strong working knowledge of Meta/TikTok Ads platforms
  • Experience with creative pipelines and UGC testing using Ai tools
  • Comfortable leading a remote team with weekly cadences
  • Hands on with Klaviyo, Postscript, and Shopify CMS
  • Experience with bundles, upsells, and LTV workflows
  • Able to write and review high performing landing pages
  • Can think like a general manager, not just a marketer
