Director of Engineering, Dynamic Platform

You will define the long-term technical roadmap and architecture for the Platform, stay hands-on contributing to design reviews and code, and oversee the design and delivery of highly scalable secure distributed systems. You will hire, mentor, and grow engineering talent, engage with customers to ensure integration and performance, and drive adoption of modern practices including AI to improve platform efficiency and security.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term technical roadmap architecture and standards for the Platform
• Maintain hands-on technical engagement and contribute to design reviews and code
• Oversee design and implementation of complex distributed systems for scale and resiliency
• Lead mentor and expand a high-performing engineering organization
• Collaborate with customers to gather technical requirements and ensure integration performance
• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices and leverage AI to enhance platform capabilities

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering management experience leading multiple teams
• 10+ years of hands-on backend development experience with large-scale secure distributed systems
• Deep focus on security including architecting platforms with strong defenses against attack vectors
• Expertise in Crypto Web or Financial Services or High-Security Authentication Platforms
• Proven experience scaling platforms to millions of users and high transaction volumes
• Proven ability to attract hire and develop senior and principal engineering talent
• Strong technical foundation with influence over architecture and modern cloud paradigms
• Proficiency in TypeScript and AWS infrastructure (experience with TEE a plus)
