The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and supervision of home health clinical services. This role ensures the delivery of high\-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and achievement of clinical and operational goals. The DON leads and develops clinical staff, oversees patient care delivery, and supports the Administrator in managing day\-to\-day operations of the agency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>- Direct and coordinate all patient care services provided by clinical staff
<\/li> - Provide leadership and oversight in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
<\/li> - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Medicare guidelines
<\/li> - Review patient charts, clinical documentation, and staff activity reports to ensure quality and compliance
<\/li> - Monitor clinical outcomes and implement performance improvement initiatives
<\/li> - Lead, manage, train, and develop nursing and clinical staff
<\/li> - Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards of care
<\/li> - Collaborate with the Administrator to achieve agency goals and operational objectives
<\/li> - Participate in leadership meetings and support organizational initiatives
<\/li> - Serve as acting Administrator in their absence, as needed
<\/li><\/ul>
Supervisory Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>- Direct supervision of RNs, LPNs, and clinical support staff
<\/li> - Responsible for hiring, onboarding, performance management, and staff development
<\/li> - Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet patient care needs
<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/span>
Requirements<\/h3>
Qualifications:<\/b>
<\/p>- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
<\/li> - Bachelor\u2019s degree in Nursing or related healthcare field preferred
<\/li> - Minimum 2\u20134 years of healthcare experience, including leadership or supervisory experience in home health or a related field
<\/li> - Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations, OASIS documentation, and home health operations
<\/li><\/ul>Skills and Competencies:<\/b>

<\/p>- Work is performed in both office and patient home settings
<\/li> - Regular travel within the community is required
<\/li> - Ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds
