Job Description:
CARR Biosystems is seeking a People & Culture Leader (Executive Leadership Team) to strengthen our culture and improve business performance. Reporting directly to the CEO and serving on the Executive Leadership Team, this role will shape and execute the people strategy that supports growth, operational effectiveness, and our commitment to "people and performance in harmony."
The Director of People will partner closely with leaders across the organization to build an inclusive, high-trust culture while ensuring our people practices drive measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
Align People & Culture initiatives with company strategy, growth objectives, and business outcomes.
Foster an engaging, inclusive culture through employee listening programs, recognition initiatives, and company communications.
Lead leadership development, performance management, and employee relations while coaching leaders through complex people matters.
Drive workforce planning, succession planning, organizational design, recruiting, and onboarding efforts to build strong talent pipelines.
Oversee compensation, incentives, and benefits programs to maintain competitiveness, equity, and compliance.
Utilize HR metrics and dashboards to guide decisions, measure impact, and improve the team member experience.
Lead continuous improvement of People processes, policies, systems, and emerging tools, including opportunities for AI-enabled work redesign.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; Master's degree and/or HR certification preferred.
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years leading people with strategic influence.
Demonstrated success translating business needs into people strategies that improve performance, engagement, and retention.
Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, coach, and challenge leaders at all levels.
Broad HR expertise across talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and employee relations.
Working knowledge of U.S. multi-state employment law; international HR experience is a plus.
Experience leveraging HR metrics, HRIS platforms, and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to support data-driven decision making.
