<\/b><\/p>We are seeking a \u201cDirector of Product Management\u201d to own and drive the Portfolio Monitoring\nproduct area. This is a customer\-facing leadership role: you will work directly\nwith large, sophisticated institutional clients who have complex customization,\nconfiguration, and integration requirements. You will define the product vision\nand roadmap for portfolio monitoring, translate client needs into scalable\nproduct capabilities, and collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and\nEngineering to deliver solutions that win and retain enterprise accounts.

The ideal candidate comes from a\nB2B enterprise software background in the private markets, alternative\ninvestments, or financial data space, and has direct experience managing\nproducts where client\-specific configuration and white\-glove engagement are central\nto the value proposition.

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>- Own the product\nvision, strategy, and 12\-month roadmap for the Portfolio Monitoring product\narea, aligning with CEPRES\u2019 overall business objectives and market\nopportunities.
<\/span><\/li>- Participate in\nthe annual strategic planning process alongside business unit leadership,\nbringing market intelligence, competitive analysis, and technology feasibility\ninput so that commercial priorities are defined with full product and market\ncontext.
<\/span><\/li>- Own systematic\nmarket and competitive intelligence as an ongoing function: maintain a\nstructured view of competitor capabilities, market trends, and client needs\nrather than relying on anecdotal feedback from individual sales conversations,\nand use this to inform roadmap prioritization and product strategy.
<\/span><\/li>- Serve as the\nprimary product voice in client\-facing engagements: participate in sales\ncycles, lead product demonstrations, run discovery workshops, and manage\nsolution scoping for enterprise prospects and existing accounts.
<\/span><\/li>- Translate\nlarge\-scale customization and configuration requests from institutional clients\ninto scalable, repeatable product capabilities that serve the broader\nmarket.
<\/span><\/li>- Partner with\nSales and Customer Success to develop account\-specific solution strategies,\nensuring product capabilities align with client requirements and contractual\ncommitments.
<\/span><\/li>- Oversee\nmultiple agile squads delivering portfolio monitoring features, ensuring\ncoordinated execution, effective cross\-team collaboration, and continuous\nimprovement in product delivery.
<\/span><\/li>- Champion\nproduct positioning and go\-to\-market strategy by collaborating with Marketing\nto develop pricing, positioning, and messaging that differentiates CEPRES in\nthe private market\u2019s software space.
<\/span><\/li>- Build and\nmanage relationships with strategic partners, data providers, and technology\nvendors to enhance the product ecosystem.
<\/span><\/li>- Mentor and\ndevelop the product management team, fostering a culture of client empathy,\nanalytical rigor, and continuous learning.
<\/span><\/li>- Monitor product\nperformance, adoption metrics, and client satisfaction to inform strategic\ndecision\-making and prioritization.

Requirements<\/h3>- 10+ years of\nexperience in product management within B2B enterprise software, with at least\n5 years in a customer\-facing product role serving large, sophisticated\nclients.
<\/span><\/li>- Direct\nexperience in the private markets, alternative investments, asset management,\nor financial data/technology sector.
<\/span><\/li>- Proven track\nrecord of managing products that require significant client\-specific\ncustomization, configuration, or implementation, while maintaining a scalable\nproduct architecture.
<\/span><\/li>- Strong B2B\nsales environment experience: comfortable participating in RFPs, prospect\ndemos, solution scoping, and commercial negotiations alongside Sales\nteams.
<\/span><\/li>- Deep expertise\nin agile methodologies, strategic roadmap development, and cross\-functional\nteam leadership.
<\/span><\/li>- Excellent\ncommunication skills with the ability to engage credibly with C\-level\nexecutives, portfolio managers, and operations teams at institutional\ninvestors.
<\/span><\/li>- Experience with\nproduct positioning, GTM strategy development, and driving successful market\nlaunches in enterprise software.
<\/span><\/li>- In\-depth\nknowledge of portfolio monitoring workflows, including fund accounting,\nperformance measurement (IRR, TVPI, DPI), cash flow management, and investor\nreporting.
<\/span><\/li>- Demonstrated\nsuccess in mentoring product teams and driving organizational growth.
<\/span><\/li>- Ability to\ndocument and articulate complex product requirements, user stories, and process\nimprovements clearly and effectively.

<\/p>- Experience at a\nprivate market software vendor.
<\/span><\/li>- Exposure to\nadvanced analytics, AI/machine learning technologies, and quantitative modeling\ntechniques as applied to private market portfolio data.
<\/span><\/li>- MBA or advanced\ndegree in finance, economics, or related quantitative discipline.
<\/span><\/li>- Familiarity\nwith product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Product board, or\nsimilar platforms.
<\/span><\/li>- Fluency in\nEnglish required; German or additional European languages a strong plus.
