Role Description
We're a Series B software company on a mission to build technology people actually love using — and we need an HR leader who's just as excited about building a great company as we are. This is a senior, high-impact role for someone who wants to be a true partner to the business: shaping how we develop our managers, how we think about performance, and how we build a culture where people do their best work. You won't be handed a playbook — you'll write one.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you'll work closely with leaders and managers across every part of the company. One day you're coaching a new manager through a tough conversation; the next you're designing our performance review process or running an all-hands workshop on feedback. If you geek out on people strategy, love rolling up your sleeves, and want to shape culture from the inside at a company that's growing fast, this might be exactly what you've been looking for.
What You’ll Be Up To…
Be the partner managers actually want to call. You'll work closely with managers across the company — helping them navigate tough conversations, think through team structure, consider compensation, and show up as better leaders. You're not the HR police; you're a trusted advisor who helps people do their best work.
Build and run our manager development program. You'll own our approach to developing managers — from new manager onboarding to ongoing coaching and training. You'll figure out what skills our managers need most and create programs that actually move the needle (not just check a box).
Lead performance management and compensation. You'll own our performance review process end-to-end — designing it, running it, and improving it every cycle. You know how to make performance conversations meaningful rather than dreaded, and you'll coach managers to do the same. You’ll also help managers think through meaningful compensation changes that reward our high performers.
Develop our culture intentionally. Culture doesn't happen by accident. You'll help us define what we stand for, identify gaps between values and reality, and build programs that close those gaps. You'll be a culture carrier and a culture architect.
Run HR programs that scale. As we grow, you'll design and lead HR initiatives — things like engagement surveys, onboarding improvements, compensation frameworks, and more. You'll think about what we need now and what we'll need at 2x our current size.

The Benefits of Building with Us
We offer competitive salaries and meaningful equity. We believe everyone on the team should have a stake in what we’re building. Benefits vary by region to make sure you're covered in the ways that matter most. In the US, that includes health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, plus a 401(k) and flexible spending accounts.
Regardless of where you live, everyone at Ditto can utilize flexible time off. And while we work remotely, our Atlanta and San Francisco offices are open if you ever want a place to work or meet up with teammates.
Apply Anyway
At Ditto, we know game-changers don’t always come wrapped in a “perfect” resume. Years of experience? Every single bullet point checked? Meh. That’s not what drives us.
What does matter?
Grit.
Curiosity.
Adaptability.
And a genuine spark for what we’re building.
So if you’re fired up about our mission but not sure you tick every box - hit that apply button anyway. Use your application to show us how you’ll make an impact here.
We’re always on the lookout for exceptional humans who want to grow, stretch, and build something meaningful with us.
