We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Product Lead to join our Product Leadership team. This role is located in Manchester.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a strategic, commercially aware, and execution-focused product leader with the ability to operate at both enterprise and delivery levels. They can set a compelling long-term vision while ensuring teams remain focused on near-term priorities, client outcomes, and measurable value delivery. They will be comfortable leading across multiple products, influencing senior stakeholders, overseeing financial and risk dimensions, and building alignment across product, engineering, operations, and business teams. They will also be a strong people leader who raises the bar on product craft, governance, and execution discipline.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and execute the strategic vision for the Platform/Hub and translate that into a clear product vision and roadmap.
  • Own the overall product and platform roadmap, aligning teams around delivery goals and making trade-offs across products where required.
  • Own and manage the overall financials for the Platform/Hub, including P&L responsibility where applicable, required tracking, and reporting.
  • Maintain prioritized product roadmaps and backlogs, continuously grooming and reprioritizing based on strategic priorities, stakeholder feedback, risks, and client outcomes.
  • Provide leadership support and day-to-day direction to Product Managers and product owners, ensuring alignment and collaboration across groups and backlogs.
  • Manage operational risk and risk remediation efforts; monitor resilience, client outcome metrics, and implement preventive controls and continuous improvement loops.
  • Take accountability for all risks originating from services delivered, including aggregation, management, and remediation across the product set or platform.
  • Provide day-to-day direction to guide Platform/Hub operations and evaluate impact through established scorecards, OKRs, and performance metrics.
  • Track product and platform metrics, including financial outcomes, operational measures, and client value indicators.
  • Challenge and enhance the Platform/Hub value proposition on an ongoing basis.
  • Role holder will need to collaborate across broad spectrum of senior stakeholders within the enterprise, to share progress, flag challenges, and codify lessons learned.
  • Champion a client-first mindset by establishing pragmatic MVPs tied to immediate client needs, measurable OKRs, and rapid feedback loops.
  • Bring client, market, and competitive research to uncover unmet needs and ensure relevance and differentiation in the market.
  • Represent the Platform/Hub in senior forums and client engagements, credibly articulating strategy, differentiation, and delivery progress.
  • Develop a high-performance culture that is client-obsessed, outcome-oriented, disciplined in execution, and grounded in strong product craft.
