The Role

As a member of the Workplace Investing Supplier Management Governance Team, you will lead the end-to-end supplier onboarding lifecycle and support execution of broader vendor management program delivery. You will ensure consistency, governance, and strong execution across supplier onboarding and program initiatives, while partnering closely with Vendor Managers, Procurement, Vendor Risk, and other enterprise stakeholders.

This role combines strategic program leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring suppliers onboard efficiently, in compliance with enterprise standards, and aligned to Workplace Investing business objectives.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

  • 7–10 years of experience in vendor management, program management, product development, operations, risk, or relationship management.

  • Strong understanding of the Workplace Investing business preferred.

  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and facilitation skills with strong executive presence.

  • Understanding of Vendor lifecycle, desired.

  • Ability to build strong partnerships across all organizational levels.

  • Strong program and project management capabilities.

  • Ability to navigate complex organizations and ambiguous situations.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically when needed.

  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to clearly articulate risks, challenges, and business impacts.

  • Independent, self-motivated, and comfortable operating with minimal direction.

  • Expertise in presentation development and compelling storytelling.

  • Oversee the end-to-end supplier lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding, including change-management for existing suppliers, using standardized frameworks to ensure adherence to requirements across WI portfolios.

  • Partner with Vendor Managers and business stakeholders to manage onboarding demand and pipeline, and coordinate governance requirements to secure necessary approval.

  • Oversee supplier setup across systems (e.g., Supplier Master, VRW, QuickBase) and required documentation.

  • Support vendor management program initiatives by maintaining consistent standards, processes, and best practices across the supplier lifecycle.

  • Serve as a liaison to enterprise partners (Procurement, Vendor Risk, Client Contracts, and Risk) to align on program objectives and solutions, while influencing strategic decisions and representing Fidelity’s governance expectations and strategic direction.

  • Ensure compliance with the Enterprise Vendor Management Policy and Fidelity standards.

  • Identify, assess, and resolve complex issues and risk events, evaluating the impact of enterprise changes on the supplier management program.
