Director - Sales Enablement & Capability (Trainer)

Job Summary -

JioStar is seeking an AD - Sales Enablement & Capability to build and scale sales excellence across the Growth Customer Sales (GCS) and JioAds teams. This role will be responsible for developing frontline selling capabilities, driving adoption of new advertising solutions, enabling agency partners, and improving overall commercial effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Capability Development

  • Design and deliver sales training programs for GCS and JioAds teams.

  • Build structured onboarding programs for new hires.

  • Develop role-based learning journeys for sales executives, account managers, and sales leaders.

  • Conduct regular workshops on consultative selling, value-based selling, negotiation, objection handling, and account growth.

Product & Ad-Tech Enablement

  • Drive sales readiness for new products, advertising solutions, targeting capabilities, measurement tools, and platform enhancements.

  • Translate complex ad-tech concepts into customer-facing sales narratives.

  • Build product certification and accreditation programs.

  • Equip teams with positioning, use cases, competitive differentiation, and value propositions.

Agency Enablement

  • Develop capability-building programs for agency partners.

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for agencies on JioStar and JioAds offerings.

  • Create agency certification frameworks and learning modules.

  • Improve agency adoption and advocacy of key advertising solutions.

Commercial Excellence

  • Establish best practices for customer acquisition, retention, and upsell.

  • Improve sales effectiveness through call reviews, deal reviews, and coaching interventions.

  • Partner with sales managers to identify capability gaps and drive targeted improvement plans.

  • Support strategic sales initiatives and seasonal revenue opportunities.

Integrated Solutions Selling

  • Train teams to sell integrated advertising solutions across sports, entertainment, digital, and data-led products.

  • Enable sellers to create outcome-based proposals for SMB advertisers.

  • Build industry-specific playbooks for priority advertiser categories.

Measurement & Analytics

  • Define success metrics for enablement initiatives.

  • Track training effectiveness through certification scores, seller adoption, pipeline impact, revenue contribution, and sales productivity metrics.

  • Continuously optimize programs using business performance data and participant feedback.
