Discipline Support Officer #Jurong West
Working Hour
- Mondays to Fridays: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
Key Roles
Oversee daily student discipline matters, including referrals, interventions, mentoring, and restorative practices to support behavioural improvement.
Operate the school’s designated intervention space to help students de-escalate, regulate emotions, and reintegrate into class, while facilitating individual or group sessions to build social-emotional and conflict-resolution skills.
Respond promptly to classroom crises by safely removing and escorting students to the intervention space when behaviours escalate.
Assist the Case Management Team in conducting objective investigations, gathering statements, and documenting evidence for discipline and bullying-related incidents.
Maintain accurate and timely discipline records, case notes, and reports in school systems, and support documentation standards for student management.
Collaborate closely with the Case Management Team, counsellors, and SEN officers by providing observations and feedback to inform case reviews and intervention planning.
Provide additional supervisory and logistical support for school events and student management activities as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially MS Word) with good IT literacy.
