Dish Washer
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashers or by hand.
- Load and unload dishwashing machines efficiently.
- Hand-wash delicate items and large cooking equipment.
- Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean, dry, and organized work area, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash/recycling.
- Assist with basic food prep (chopping, portioning) and stocking supplies as needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
- Report any equipment issues to management.
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends.
- Experience in a professional kitchen is a plus, but not always required.
