Display & IOT Component- Sales


Role Objective:<\/b>
<\/h2>

<\/p>

To drive sales and business development of Display & IoT solutions<\/b> (such as Smart Dashboards, Instrument Clusters, Telematics Units, GPS Trackers, and Connected Vehicle Modules) for the 2W Electric Vehicle segment<\/b> by engaging with OEMs, system integrators, and EV startups.
<\/div>
The role focuses on techno\-commercial selling<\/b>, OEM account management, and building long\-term partnerships to enhance vehicle connectivity and digital intelligence in the EV ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>

1. Business Development & Sales<\/b>
<\/h3>
  • Identify and onboard new OEM customers in the 2W EV segment<\/b> for display and IoT component integration.
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Promote products such as:
    <\/p>

    • Display Systems:<\/b> TFT/LCD dashboards, digital instrument clusters, touch screens, and HUDs.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • IoT / Connected Modules:<\/b> Smart telematics, GPS trackers, BLE\-based connectivity, SIM\-enabled communication units, cloud data loggers.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Smart Components:<\/b> CAN\-enabled devices, vehicle controllers, communication gateways, and ECU interfaces.
      <\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li>

    • Develop and manage sales pipelines<\/b> for existing and potential OEM customers.
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Present techno\-commercial proposals<\/b> aligned with customer requirements and homologation needs.
      <\/p><\/li><\/ul>


      2. Key Account & Relationship Management<\/b>
      <\/h3>
      • Act as the primary point of contact<\/b> for OEM customers (R&D, Sourcing, and Engineering teams).
        <\/p><\/li>

      • Manage complete project lifecycle \u2014 from product design\-in to SOP.
        <\/p><\/li>

      • Ensure timely RFQ submission, price negotiation, and order finalization<\/b>.
        <\/p><\/li>

      • Coordinate with technical, quality, and production<\/b> teams for customer support and prototype approvals.
        <\/p><\/li>

      • Maintain long\-term relationships with OEM decision\-makers<\/b> and promote new product introductions.

        3. Technical & Product Expertise<\/b>
        <\/h3>
        • Understand vehicle electronics architecture<\/b> (CAN/LIN communication, telematics integration).
          <\/p><\/li>

        • Map customer requirements with product capabilities and recommend suitable configurations.
          <\/p><\/li>

        • Collaborate with R&D teams for custom display layouts, connectivity protocols, or UI/UX enhancements<\/b>.
          <\/p><\/li>

        • Stay updated on IoT protocols (4G/5G, BLE, NB\-IoT, MQTT)<\/b> and connected vehicle ecosystems.
          <\/p><\/li>

        • Understand AIS standards<\/b> related to IoT & electronics (AIS\-140, AIS\-004, AIS\-038, etc.).
          <\/p><\/li><\/ul>


          4. Market Intelligence & Strategy<\/b>
          <\/h3>
          • Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging display/IoT technologies in the 2W EV space.
            <\/p><\/li>

          • Identify new business opportunities in connected vehicle platforms<\/b>, fleet telematics, and aftermarket IoT applications.
            <\/p><\/li>

          • Provide feedback to management for product roadmap alignment<\/b> with market needs.
            <\/p><\/li>

          • Support marketing initiatives such as exhibitions, demo vehicles, and digital campaigns<\/b>.
            <\/p><\/li><\/ul>


            5. Commercial & Operational Responsibilities<\/b>

            • Handle pricing strategy, costing analysis, and margin optimization<\/b> for component sales.
              <\/p><\/li>

            • Coordinate with logistics and SCM for delivery schedules and payment follow\-ups<\/b>.
              <\/p><\/li>

            • Maintain and update CRM data for leads, opportunities, and forecast planning.

                  • Strong negotiation and contract management<\/b> skills.
                    <\/p><\/li>

                  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce / Zoho / SAP B1)<\/b> for pipeline management.

                  • Experience in RFQ management, costing, and pricing strategies<\/b>.

                      Qualification & Experience<\/b>

                      • Education:<\/b> B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation. MBA preferred.
                        <\/p><\/li>

                      • Experience:<\/b> 5\u201310 years in automotive component sales<\/b>, preferably in display, telematics, or IoT devices<\/b> for EV or 2W segments.
                        <\/p><\/li>

                      • Preferred Exposure:<\/b> OEM / Tier\-1 supplier environment with experience in handling 2W or EV customers.
