Display Reliability Engineer
As a Display Reliability Engineer, you will have a wide range of responsibilities in developing and executing novel opto-electrical techniques for reliability studies of Apple display modules. You will assess Reliability by analyzing the resulting data and work cross-functionally to provide directions for designing and manufacturing Apple display systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Physics, Engineering or equivalent field with 3+ yrs of experience
Understand physics behind optical & electrical properties of materials
Knowledge of opto-electrical measurement equipment, automatic data acquisition systems
Reliability test ownership, ability to create standard operating procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Must be able to work independently, as well collaboratively with other team members
Ability to travel internationally without restrictions
Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate degree in Materials Science, Physics, Engineering or equivalent field with 2+ yrs of experience
Proven record of solving difficult engineering problems
Adept in statistical data analysis and capable of clear reporting
Matlab/Python/LabView or other scripting language knowledge is a plus
Ability to handle multiple projects at once including running activities remotely at third party vendor sites overseas
Flexibility to accept new tasks and go beyond one's comfort zone to pursue the solution to new and unexpected problems
